TrialScope Convert Used For Over 400 Studies

Complimentary online service helps clinical trial sponsors meet July 2016 deadlines

JERSEY CITY, N.J., May 5, 2016– TrialScope, the global leader in clinical trial transparency and compliance solutions, today announced that TrialScope Convert, a free online service has helped clinical trial sponsors convert over 400 studies to the format required for EudraCT.

TrialScope Convert was designed to aid in the tedious and often error-prone process of converting clinical trial results previously submitted to the US registry, Clinicaltrials.gov to the format required for the European Clinical Trials Database, EudraCT.

The EudraCT system went offline for a period of time in 2015 and was made available again on January 13, 2016. The new deadline for submission of summary results for studies that were originally due from July 31, 2015 to March 13, 2016 (the period of the system downtime plus two months) is July 13, 2016.

Mike Forgash, Chief Executive Officer, noted, “The upcoming deadline is impacting many clinical trial sponsors. TrialScope Convert reduces the data entry burden by as much as 85%, thus making it easier for sponsors to meet their compliance commitments.”

Thomas Wicks, Chief Strategy Officer, added, “The July deadline is fast approaching. With TrialScope Convert, clinical trial sponsors can leverage data that was already prepared and approved for upload to clinicaltrials.gov. and reuse it for EudraCT. This not only saves time but also ensures alignment of disclosed data across registries.”

Sponsors can gain access to the conversion service from the TrialScope website at convert.trialscope.com.
